Good team.
Can't argue with the line up, probably our strongest right now. Campbell a little unlucky to be dropped but Iwobi has looked good.
This is what I don't get about the guy. One minute he's pulling form players out of the line-up because they are little bit needle flickering on edge of red zone, next he's sending out unchanged line-ups in quick succession. Then he picks out certain individuals and plays them into the ground regardless. I think the team today is fine and I don't buy that players can't handle a couple of games a week. But why does his thinking on this flip from one extreme to the other?
Anyway, this team should have more than enough to beat a very ordinary Everton. If we can't turn up today then forget about turning up for the rest of the season. You would like to think the manager and players will look at this shambles of a season and quickly realise the only way to claw a bit of respect back is to win the next 9 games.
Because he doesn't know what he's doing, when results are going ok he stills with the same team and runs them into the ground and when it's not he panics and changes things.
The performance if not the result against Barcelona was decent, and although I'd swap Welbeck and Sanchez positionally, because Sanchez is becoming predictable with the cutting inside and Welbeck works his nuts off but couldn't finish a personalised pizza....or just get them to alternate would make sense.
Everton: Robles, Baines, Funes Mori, Jagielka, Coleman, McCarthy, Besic, Cleverley, Lennon, Barkley, Lukaku.
I think we will win today because we have to, we have left it too late to decide the outcome of the title and the likelihood is we will finish second or third because I think Leicester will do enough in their winnable games to cross the line
And I still think especially at home, the results won't come.....playing at its best this team could very well win all our remaining away fixtures but Watford, crystal palace, west Brom I'm not so confident.
But none the less if we win will be supporting Bournemouth and palace this weekend.
Ashton has just said there are "3 or 4 voices in the media still supporting Wenger", but otherwise the support has gone. Don't know what that means. Does it matter who they "support"? As far as I can see they support whoever is winning and crucify the rest. He termed the fans' reactions as a "witch hunt".
Anyways, can't watch the game as per usual
