Wenger slowly fasing out Alexis and Ozil. Makes sense if they have made it clear they won't sign on.
I mean why would you bench Alexis in such a big game?
He hasn't played made any games and did just on Thursday. Fair enough you could say he was playing on Thursday because he is being punished but it just strikes me as reading in to something that isn't there.

Whatever the case, it boils down to stupidity. Trying to make a point in the final year of a players contract makes no sense now. We should have made that point last year and then sold him on.
Iwobi had a pre-season. Based on last season it's more playing Welbeck ahead of him anyway though isn't it?
