I don’t think Rice will be that big a loss, he’s not been great in the three previous games. The important thing is to not have Partey sitting in front of the back four or Timber playing the inverted left back role as Partey doesn’t track his runners and Timber is not good at all on the ball, so just making pressure for ourselves

I think stacking the team with defenders wouldn’t necessarily do us much good, we need to play in a way that gives us an attacking outlet. I think spurs will see more of the ball simply because that’s how it panned out the last two times we went there but, I think setting up in a way to completely concede possession to them is a good way of losing 1-0

Califiori hasn’t made the Bench, otherwise I think he should have started over Timber. Other than that, I may have started Sterling instead of Martinelli but hard to know how match fit he is but that’s pretty much what I’d have gone for

Honestly would rather have him in the side than Jurrien Timber, Zinchenko can at least pass the ball.

He was part of the reason we couldn’t get out of our own third against Brighton
