Btw in case anyone tunes in at 16.00 GMT and wonders why there's no football, this actually starts at 4.30pm...
Imagine anyone who comes to this forum for factional information on football
I can’t remember the last time Sunday evening game kicked off at 16:00 rather than 16:30, maybe I’m just subliminally nostalgic
Anyway for those who edit this site, feel free to correct the KO time
That’s worrying, that autocorrect on my phone would make factual…factional. If your phone did it…whole other story
Anyway. Yes obviously I posted the kick off time wrong, the point being is that I know full well it’s 16:30 given that it’s been I think at least ten years or more since the kick off time for Sunday late afternoon/evening game was 16:00. So as I’ve said possible nostalgia at the subliminal level.
I often like things how they were
19:45 kick off times in Champions League games would be another example of that
I'd settle for getting rid of those 8.15pm Amazon Prime kickoffs, that's the end
Well that as well…although I suspect with that because they are mid week games, it’s about getting home from work but then it’s swings and roundabouts because if it’s an away game you’re going to have to stay overnight
But I also don’t like Friday Night football matches, they aren’t to be fair anything new. I remember us playing on a Friday night against Newcastle about 20 or so years ago.
Nor do I like Sunday 12:00 games
Or Saturday night games, the last game on a Saturday should be at 17:30
Hope I’m proven hilariously wrong but I’m really not looking forward to this.
I don’t really look forward to many Arsenal games. Especially not games like this
I think if Raya is not available it’s going to be a long game
Similarly given that ive given up on the title (maybe Liverpool would have beaten Bournemouth anyway, but got a huge slice of help from the referee) I have nothing to be worried about, because the stakes aren’t that high
We’ve had three months to chase Liverpool down and we’ve not done it. I think this game reeks of a draw personally
Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly, Partey, Rice, Odegaard, Trossard, Havertz, Martinelli
Can’t complain too much, although my preference would be for Calafiori over Lewis-Skelly, Partey and Rice to swap positions and for Nwaneri to play instead of Trossard.
