Everyone at the club is delusional. We have players explaining how everything is perfect at the club, except the fact we win nothing. They don't know why. We have a manager who seems to genuinely believe in a team that has won nothing. We have an owner but nobody can find him. I think it would be dangerous to believe in any of this, you could get locked up and the key thrown away.Quote:

Diaby will start, won't he? Which means even the ridiculously tiny sliver of desperate and unrealistic hope we had is now completely extinguished. It was close on impossible 11 vs 11, but our ten against Bayern + Diaby? No chance.

If he's not carrying an injury I do wonder what the point of "resting" him is now when the season is all but dead.
He has been dropped - and quite frankly, when you have fuck all to play for, you may as well use what games you have to try new things.
Added to this, I'd now persevere with playing Theo up the middle like he wants, and if he can't get it to work or at least show signs of working, tell him to get his ass back on the wing.
Ches has been awful this season. Fabianski is worse. Look at our back five, it's a disgrace for a club that pulls in so much cash. If they could get away with playing kids off the street that cost a tenner a match they'd do it. Looks like our last appearance in the CL for a while will be one to remember, for all the wrong reasons.
hopefully it's Mannone who gets the shout, as he had a very good start to the season before Sir Fuck Up came back.
It aint going to be pretty tomorrow and like NQ has said, I think this could be our last CL for a while. It is sad it's come to this but as long as we are doing things the "right way", that's all that matters. :rolleyes:

Stick Adams statue in goal, Chapmans statue in front of back four, Henry statue can play down the middle (more effective than Theo), unfortunately Bergkamp statue can't fly as it's not finished :upset: but still gives us a solid spine to fit the team around...

It's clear Woijech has been dropped, which is probably for the best as his performances haven't been good enough thus far though why'd Wenger choose this game out of all games to do it baffles me. Not that I see us winning but conceding a cricket score isn't going to help the club in anyway at all.
It's going to be curious to see how Wenger set's up the team tonight. I know a lot of the "we can still do it" talk he was espousing yesterday was all fake bravado for the cameras but if he wants to try and get three goals we're going to be attacking from the get go which is going to leave us very vulnerable with our suicidal high back line. Things could then get bad. Real bad. Or he could have us a lot more contained and we then lose to a respectable 2 - 0 scoreline.
It’s awful timing really. Fabs hasn’t played since Feb 2012 right? It’s a massive opportunity for him but he’s going to be nervous and I think we’ll concede early goals tonight from blunders. If this goes tits up then we’ll have to bring Szczesny back and hope his confidence hasn’t been broken for the rest of the season. I don’t think he’s been so bad that we’ve had to drop him for Fabianski, a keeper that hasn’t played all season. Almunia used to have a string of bad games and make awful blunders before getting dropped.
So, it's the B team tonight then, feel sorry for the travelling fans.
I'd like to predict that we would go out and do the club proud, but then I realise we are still managed by the master of humilations. Will we lose 8-2? Little bit difficult to say. It could be double figures. It may be single. We do not speculate.
