Apparently we've had a €30m offer rejected for William Carvalho - Lisbon holding out for something closer to his release clause (€45m)...

Daily Heil has Cassilias apparently eager to join us. With Madrid signing Navas in addition to first choice Lopez there's not going to be much room for Iker there.

Even though I think the rumours of his demise based on his performances at the WC (anyone would struggle with Pique and Ramos in front of them) are over exaggerated I'm not sure whether I would still want him. Seems a bit of a dressing room cancer, would demand massive wages and probably would be equally as frustrated warming our bench.

Never thought I'd say this but I'd probably pass on Casillas now.....

So Maureen says Cesc didnt want to go to Arsenal and always wanted Chelsea. But didn the player himself speak to Wenger and AW said he didnt want him because Arsenal had Ozil?.

Heavily linked to Man Utd at the start of the summer window though things seemed to have cooled off with them and now they're more linked to Vidal.

Decent player though (probably expected) a tad overrated as Lisbon want to squeeze as much money as they can out of him. A bit worried that he's not top level/club material as I don't think he's really performed as the top level so far as all due respect to the Portuguese league ........ it's not comparable to the PL, La Liga or the Bundesliga. Didn't really set the world alight for Portugal during the WC either.

Meh, would prefer Khedira, Bender or Schniderlin. Actually it may just be a deliberate rumour/tactic from our part to pressure Khedria to drop his excessive wage demands though (good idea).

He's a petty and spiteful little man. I don't think Cesc will be accepted by the Chelsea supporters if these sort of questions keep popping up and he doesn't say what the Chelsea fans want to hear. Maureen needs to quite with the games and just get on with it.

Sky Sports sources understand that former Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou is keen to return to the Premier League this summer. Kalou scored 16 goals for Lille last season, and has been linked with the likes of Monaco, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.
