Low :haha:
What a shocker.
Good performance by young players against what was admittedly rather disinterested looking German side
Not really hit the heights since the World Cup
No chance of winning it because need a coach with more about him than Woy, but I think we will not embarrass ourselves either....may even threaten a semi final berth.
It's coming home, boys.
Wilshere better be fit and replace that mug Alli in the starting 11 when the tourny rolls around
Kane and Vardy
Is this charade ever going to end?
Really good game from England, but as a german i know it is always the same, the squad are never motivated in friendly-games and bring horrible results. But that Kane and Dier scored....Löw must sacked :-)
I thought England were superb. They passed and moved the ball at pace and kept hold of possession well. I think this team will surprise a lot of people at the Euros.
It's a double blow for most Arsenal fans. We get the seasonal progression of false dawns at domestic level and the same with the national team every two years. This time it's coming home, for sure.
Ooops - null point
View from the media ward.
He fucked up almost everything he touched. They couldn't scrape up a single example of him not fucking up during the half time tribute. So they just pretended and invited everyone to ignore their lying eyes. Culminated in his shocking missed open goal that demonstrated the same lack of composure he showed all night. The truth about this guy is he has some fairly decent technical skills but after that he doesn't have the first clue how to use the ball. If England go with this guy it will place huge pressure in the forwards to create for themselves.Quote:
Dele Alli oozed class against the world champions in England's 3-2 win
Absolutely inept from start to just about the finish. Good header for the goal but that was it. Shocking for the second German goal. So easily bypassed. At best a bog standard, thump it, lump it British defender. The fact he's in an England shirt shows how far the national team has fallen down the pecking order.Quote:
Eric Dier enjoyed a superb night in holding midfield in Berlin
Looked fine until he got injured and conceded a poor goal as a result. Typical of the media to consider 30 seconds rather than 45 minutes. If matches were won by highlight reels then England would have a chance. As it is the media will trumpet an shite performance by Alli while slaughtering a player for getting injured. Perhaps he should have kicked the ball out of play when he felt the injury. Or perhaps the invisible captain should have been there to make that decision.Quote:
Jack Butland had a nightmare evening, picking up a first-half injury
He can finish, that's for sure. But that's it. Outside the 6 yard box he offers nothing. Slow, predictable, limited technical ability. Put him in the box though and he's lethal. I suppose on form you have to give him a shot, provided you have decent players around him. Which isn't the case.Quote:
Harry Kane showed why he must start in the European Championship
Woy has spent so much time fucking around with the team it's hard to know what England can put out in order to seriously compete in the summer. Who are the genuine English world class players now? It's a struggle to name one. The media will say Hart, Smalling, Alli, Kane, Rooney, but that's to sell chip wrapping.
