Great finish by Origi; no need to watch any more of MotD.
Nice and easy 2-0 win :scarf:

Hate to be cliche, but how the hell are there so many empty seats at the Etihad?
David Luiz included in Crooks' team of the week on the basis of providing the great assist for Costa:
Quote:
What a ball for Diego Costa to score. I don't know what was better, Costa's movement in order to offer the invitation for David Luiz to attempt the 40-yard wonder ball or the sheer audacity and precision of the pass. I suppose the movement combined with the chest trap made it for me.
The last time I saw a centre-back put a centre forward in on goal so well or so deliberately was Bobby Moore in the World Cup final in 1966. It was just masterful. As a former player I saw defenders try something like that but seldom did it work.
I even played with defenders who would not have given a moment's thought to attempting such an adventurous manoeuvre for fear of ridicule. That was left to the midfield players - providing you had one that could pass, of course.
It's great to see world-class defenders producing world-class moments.
Maybe someone should tell him it was Fabregas with the pass, though.
As a bonus, he provides analysis on what makes Courtois an excellent goalkeeper:

What I adore about Courtois is there are no dramas with him and he always turns up for the big games. Making the save is all that matters to him. He doesn't behave like a star insisting on being beautifully groomed with his attire perfectly positioned. In fact he looks rather ungainly - sporting his preppy hairstyle - but who cares? He's proving to be one hell of a goalkeeper.
Crooks is my favourite BBC comedy creation.
He has Monreal in as a midfielder too.
Also, it's Wildlings, not Wildings.
Go home Crooks.
Chelsea don't really have a difficult game until Spurs in January...... very annoying.

Bolasie out for a while then. At least he can't random in a 40-yarder while randomly charging into no-man's land against us. Pubbers like this always have the best moment of their careers against us. See David Bentley, Neil Mellor, Jefferson Montero, Danny Rose and Cuco Martina for reference.
With Aguero nd Fernandinho out for Citeh too, it should favour us over the upcoming hectic run. But then United have embarrassed us twice (FA Cup with 8 defenders and last season) with possibly their worst line-ups ever, so it might be better if we play full-strength teams.
