Not long to wait now. Without serious reinforcements, we won't get anywhere near 4th. But I agree with others that I don't really trust the mad professor with whatever transfer money PHW has stashed away under the mattress.

What I think people fail to remember is that we had an absolutely storming transfer window last January.
Eisfeld
Apparently Cmhrakh is heading to West Ham on loan.
Good luck to Chamakh.
Given one run in the team and he scored goals. Hardly kicked a ball since. Will do better under a better manager at West Ham
Chakma's exit paving the way for a new striker? Could do with some #decent back up.
Henrys coming
yay
I liked Benayoun, we should've kept him.
Hes been shite for years.
Must Get
Good luck to himQuote:
ARSENAL flop Marouane Chamakh is wanted by struggling Reading.
The Moroccan striker, 28, who has scored eight goals in 40 league appearances since signing from Bordeaux in 2010, is a loan target for Royals boss Brian McDermott.
But they face competition from West Ham for Chamakh, who has four goals this term.

Wenger saying he is interested in Holtby but doesnt know whether he will go for him this month or in the summer when his contract ends.
Has someone told him he can get Holtby to sign now and have him join in the summer?
We all know whats going to happen. He will wait til the summer, someone else will get him this month and then after he excels at whatever club he is at, Wenger will come out with the "we nearly got him" BS which he does
how can liverpool get rid of a crocked, overhyped, injury plagued joe cole in 48 hours but we cant get rid of denilson, bendtner, chamakh, squillaci or djourou in 12 months?
Good question!! Denilson and Bendy have been on loan but they are just running down their contracts and our chance to make any money off their arse. I cannot understand how the other 3 are still here! Surely they couldve been loaned out to some championship side.. may be we couldve paid part of their salary as well but having them in the squad is a disaster! I'd rather have some youngsters with promise there.
Do not forget we also have Arshavin who is mooching off 90K a week. Brilliant player played out of position and completely useless for us. Surely we couldve offloaded him to some Russian team.. I just do not understand what the fuck is going on at our club!

Arsène Wenger expects a "very calm" transfer window - at least in the first couple of weeks.
The Arsenal manager has declared an interest in strengthening his squad before the end of January and, as ever, has been linked with a long list of potential signings.
Ultimately, Wenger feels a lack of transfer funds across football will affect the degree of movement among players.
"[I'm expecting it to be] very calm because, first of all, I believe there is little money and what can happen is basically a transfer market within the English clubs," Wenger told Arsenal Player.
"That is more difficult than with the foreign clubs. Overall, I believe that not a lot will happen.
"That [the economic situation] could [affect movement], because the clubs have to look at the finances. What makes the clubs are the fans and what makes the fans is the economy. On that front, nobody is really sure what will happen in 2013."
But Wenger believes there is no shortage of quality available, especially with a number of experienced players available on free transfers at the end of the season.
"A lot [are] over 30," he said. "Of course, they are all great players. They have proven that.
"It shows that the market will be more difficult for the players because the fact that you have so many top-quality players available means that [the clubs] are cautious as well."
Little bit waiting period
Is Fabregas getting any game time? Any chance of getting him on loan?? Barca can get his wages off the books and he can continue his development with us.
 same shit every transfer window.
and he wonders why we've become impatient.
continue disrespecting us arsene, you c*nt. you see it works both ways now.
"Are you disrespectin' me? Are you, Wenger, disrespectin' me bro?"
"Little bit"
If we don't sign someone this January I'm going to kill someone.
Preferably someone I met on the internet.
He's grown so defensive and arrogant that he just spouts his patronising drivel these days without any consideration of the effects it might have on the fans.
But then again, I'd probably do the same if I had a blind legion of mongs still chanting my name at matches and still holding up banners in full support; all this while I haven't delivered shitte in 7 years, systematically stripped them of the priviledge of watching world class players season after season, and subject them to eye bleeding torture of watching utter dross a la Gervinho and Ramsey match day after match day.
Lord Wenger

This is what annoys me more. We don't expect a Messi type signings and promosing is fine as long as he's ready to help our season now and not have to go on loan to first. Also, the unknown players he has signed have all been given a fair crack of the whip with the fans but have turned into such duds that he won't even but them on the bench. He's out of touch with the fans and shouldn't make such statements.Quote:
Boss Arsene Wenger says fans will be desperate for big names to arrive at Arsenal
....Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is feeling the burden of appeasing fans by bringing in big names to help boost the club's hunt for silverware.
The Gunners have been linked with a £10m bid for Atletico Madrid striker Adrian Lopez, along with Crystal Palace starlet Wilfried Zaha and Schalke midfielder Lewis Holtby.
And with doubts still surrounding the future of Theo Walcott, the club will be keen to keep their loyal supporters on board and get involved in the January transfer window.
"It is very difficult because the level of expectation is very high - people want to see Lionel Messi come in, they don't want to see a promising guy," said Wenger ahead of their FA Cup visit to Swansea on Sunday.
"First of all the name gives hope. When a guy has no name people are already sceptical, so it's much more difficult for us."
Swansea look to have picked up the Premier League's bargain of the season £2m striker Michu, signed by manager Michael Laudrup from Rayo Vallecano.
With the Spaniard scoring both goals in the 2-0 win at Arsenal on 1 December, Wenger admitted the 26-year-old had not been high on the watchlist of the club's scouting network - now under more scrutiny to unearth a hidden gem.
"Sometimes when you are on a big club your scouts are a bit more cautious because they think 'oh, it is Arsenal it has to be a top four player', so naturally they are looking less at players who play at smaller clubs," the Frenchman added.
"You are always scared that he is a player who does not do well, the scouts are looked at as responsible. The competition is higher on scouting front, that is for sure.
"The country where we were really, really competitive was France, but now they produce less players than they did 10 or 15 years ago at the top, top level.
"The emerging countries now to produce players look to be Germany and Spain, who have many good young players."
