England will play home and away friendlies against Brazil next year. Ireland and Scotland have also been lined up.
Its for the FAs 150th anniversary
You'd have thought they'd have tried to get a Spain or a Germany instead of Ireland and ScotlandQuote:
England are to face Brazil and the Republic of Ireland at Wembley, the Football Association has announced.
Five-times World Cup winners Brazil will visit as part of the FA's 150th anniversary celebrations on 6 February 2013, with England heading to Brazil for a two-game tour four months later.
The friendly with the Republic of Ireland will take place on 29 May.
England have not played Ireland since the 1995 clash at Lansdowne Road was abandoned because of crowd trouble.
The two sides will also meet in a second match a year later in Dublin, with the fixture provisionally scheduled for November 2014 at the Aviva Stadium.
"2013 is a landmark year for the FA and an exciting England fixture programme, in addition to Wembley hosting the Uefa Champions League final, will form a key part of the celebrations," said Club England managaing director Adrian Bevington.
Due to the FA's fixture arrangements, England do not play any World Cup qualifiers at the end of the season.
The high-profile fixtures with Brazil and the Republic of Ireland are in keeping with the rest of their 150th anniversary celebrations.
A match against Scotland has already been confirmed for 14 August 2013 at Wembley , with another fixture planned - possibly against Uruguay - next summer.

Kos and Giroud both started
Japan won 0-1.

Hope Koscielny and Giroud are dropped now.
JSAO's Brothers .
Boys are going down today though !
30 mins 2:0 Brazil. . .first Paulinho, second Neymer pen that shouuld never have been
Paulinho was a guy we were linked with in the summer. . .looks decent, did against Argentina too
If we are thinking midfield. . .Honda would be worth a shout too
His career seems to be going a similar way to Arshavin's. (Possibly) too good for his league. Approaching his prime. He can move to England next summer where he'll tear it up for half a season. And then slowly but surely get fat and complain about taxes.
Brazil 4-0 Japan FT
Di Santo in the Argentina squad :haha:
They have arguably the greatest selection of forwards in the world but have resorted to him?
Argentina must have called up more players to their squads than any other nation in recent years.
Goalkeepers: Fraser Forster (Celtic), Joe Hart (Manchester City), John Ruddy (Norwich City).
Defenders: Leighton Baines (Everton), Ryan Bertrand (Chelsea), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Steven Caulker (Tottenham Hotspur), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Ryan Shawcross (Stoke City), Kyle Walker(Tottenham Hotspur).
Midfielders: Tom Cleverley (Manchester United), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Aaron Lennon (Tottenham Hotspur), Leon Osman (Everton), Jonjo Shelvey (Liverpool), Raheem Sterling (Liverpool), Theo Walcott (Arsenal), Jack Wilshere (Arsenal), Ashley Young (Manchester United).
Forwards: Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Daniel Sturridge (Chelsea), Daniel Welbeck (Manchester United).
Another international break
Wilshere :haha:
Wow, it's actually quite striking how little quality there is in that squad.
More fucking internationals? What a fucking joke!
