You're a no-brainer.
----kagawa

championship winning midfield. only problem is national treasure Our Jack wouldnt get a game.
I think Kagawa is excellent as well. Arguably more influential than Gotze in Dortmund's back to back title wins. He has brilliant tekkers and it would mean Ramsey never playing again.
Dortmund are already resigned to losing him, I'd love it if we made a move. He's certainly more than just a marketing tool, although maybe our board won't see it that way...
I can see him at United anyway.
Germans, Japanese and Japanese Germans are the way forward.
Need to loan Ryo and Park to Hamburger SV next season.
Japanese Germans.
Takes efficiency to a whole new level.
We don't want their sort over here. In my day they'd have got a bayonet.
Kagawa already said something about ending up at Utd next season.
Then again, players say a lot of things.

Wenget - I expect a quiet transfer market
Arsène Wenger expects a relatively quiet summer in the transfer market - at Arsenal and beyond.
The Arsenal manager has already snapped up Cologne striker Lukas Podolski ahead of the 2012/13 season and he has been linked with many more potential signings. Wenger admits he may add "one or two" new recruits but he thinks that clubs will be restricted by squad quotas and economic troubles.
"We have already bought Podolski and we have bought five players during the season when it had already started," Wenger told Arsenal Player.
"Our job will be focused on inside [matters] now we have Podolski. That means to get Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby back in a healthy situation and then I believe we have quite a big squad. It will be [our intention] to trim a little bit and if possible add one or two players.
"I believe that the summer will be quiet for many reasons," he added. "First of all in England you have a 25-man limited squad number. Secondly the financial situation all over Europe is really bad and in some countries they have other worries than football. Therefore I expect it to be quiet.
"In our job, and this is like a football match, it is not completely predictable. But on the vibes I get even from the clubs who are big spenders, they all want to slow down."
:haha:
WUMger's vibes .
He's got the handbrake off at the moment. Great form from the master.
Kagawa could be bought for less than 10m as well given he is out of contract next year. You probably won't find another midfielder with his stats that could be bought for so little.
United probably need him more than us but I hope our interest is genuine.
We should buy him and put a bullet in Diaby.
:haha:
Yep, I think he's a fantastic player. He would walk into our team. I don't think we'll sign him though, I think we're interested but will fanny around *as usual* trying to drive the price down.
He's absolutely worth 10million, on a long contract he's a 20million pound player IMHO.
:haha:
Charlie
Kagawa is a great player and defo worth getting.
would allow us to replace shit with sugar
My only worry is thst we would play him on the wing a la out of position like Arshavin
Would fit into the way we play and would be lethal in behing Robin! But we also like Clint for theere as well right!
I still say get him, cant go wrong
"Arsenal may enter the race to sign Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Shinji Kagawa. The Japanese international wants to leave the Bundesliga club this summer and has been linked with a number of prospective suitors, most notably Manchester United."
This basically says, something may happen. Something undoubtedly will happen and that's probably about as accurate as this will prove to be.
Dempsey :bow:Quote:
Clint Dempsey may have played his last game for Fulham after the 29-year-old was ruled out of the club's final match of the season with a groin strain. Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal are all ready to make bids in the summer.

On-loan Sunderland striker Nicklas Bendtner, 24, wants a new challenge away from parent club Arsenal.

Japanese playmaker Shinji Kagawa will hold a final round of contract talks with Borussia Dortmund, before deciding whether to walk out on the German champions amid interest from a host of Premier League sides, including Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham.
Finally we might get rid of the worst striker in our history
No thanks
Yes to Dempsey and Kagawa but there isnt room for both
Dempsey is older but more experienced
Both have Europe experience, Kagawa on the CL
Dempsey more chance of immediate impact but Bundasleague is not pony (both leagues represented in this years cl final)
Both can score
Both are super fit and committed as all yanks and japs are
Unfortunate thing is the choice is wumgers so we probably wont get either as
Diaby will be back
Arshavin is coming back
And dont forget we always have Song who can play there
Fergie and Mike Phelan are at the German Cup Final.
I don't think we'll be getting Kagawa somehow.
Where are we going to play Kagawa/Dempsey in our system?! Arteta, Song and Wilshere pretty much select themselves in the middle. Front 3 assuming RVP stays will be Wally, Podolski and RVP. Where will we play them? I think we need a change in system but thats not going to happen, so where is room for these players?!
Our transfer dealings may be over if this is to be believed

Another frustrating summer lies ahead.:crying:
"Our job will be focused on inside [matters] now we have Podolski," he said. "That means to get Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby back in a healthy situation, and then I believe we have quite a big squad. It will be [our intention] to trim a little bit and if possible add one or two players."
So needs to offload to bring in, we're a poor club what else do you expect!?
He never learns does he, doesn't matter how disastrous our season is he refuses to change stuff.
That's the problem with getting 3rd, it convinces Wenger that this team is great and about our squad strength, let's ignore the thrashings, 10 or so defeats in the league and the fact we were knocked out of everything by February.
Is it any wonder half the football world thinks he's become a bit of a joke?
If he doesn't buy anyone else, and I really don't think that will be the case, then he should be sacked.
I don't think there will be many forgiving fans either.
Some fans will continue to make excuses for him. You only need to look at any thread on this board where someone makes a mildly critical comment on Wenger, there are a select few posters who jump down your throat for having the temerity to question the great man. Wengerism has become like a cult tbh.
Come on Joker, if somebody started a thread saying Wenger is still a genius, who do you think would reply to that thread most vociferously?
I don't understand why anyone would listen to what he says in press conferences or the like, it's always closed up and Wenger-bot initiated, even before we actually do go on to sign someone that was mentioned to him. It makes even less sense that the people that criticise him the most still hang on to his every word.
Rule Number 1: Arsene will say whatever shit he thinks will get the press to fuck off and stop asking questions he has no intention of answering in public because the shit-stirring ****s in the press will use it to criticise him and the players.
I have no problem with rule number 1.
Yes fans will defend him but look what they defend him in then judge then. no one cared what he says in the press confrence unless they want to jump down hos throat at any cost.
The way Wenger seems to wind so many up and does not even no it is funny. Because people seem to take waht he says to heart for some reason.
