I think its been a 2 way street. There is clearly something fundamentally flawed in Arshavin's psyche, and it doesn't surprise me at all to hear that he may retire from football altogether. Perhaps, but we didn't even try to get him fitter it seems, look at the stats about the number of games he's played and how many times he's been substituted. Some players are better at getting the best out of players like him.....I personally think we played him in the wrong position and this didn't help his moral, he's clearly quite fragile confidence wise and has never recaptured form after his initial burst. Was pretty decent in the Euros though and not bad for Zenit.Quote:
