The problem with Wenger and those who prefer a top 4 spot to a trophy is that they're only seeing "reward" as an economic thing. Yes, economically speaking top 4 is much superior to a domestic trophy, but winning a domestic cup brings with it intrinsic rewards that cannot be quantified on a balance sheet.
