Equally shitty to cry to the press about it. Is there no integrity in football any more? Everyone's a fanny. Fuck Podolski, he didn't work hard enough and Serie A against 38 year old CBs is his level.

Citeh's Nastatic close to moving to Schalke.....loan deal with option to buy.....surely that kind of deal has Wenger written all over it.....another who would benefit from regular football??!!
Although I respect him for not jumping on the pay whatever for whoever......he has definitely missed the boat on a worrying number of additions.....
Surprised Podolski feels so affronted by it or even why he cares at this stage...but it doesn't reflect well on Wenger either.
He's not good enough to be the main man here but he was most definitely good enough to have played more minutes than he did.
Factor in the wages and it's been a costly waste. I wonder how the cost of prudence and all those second and third tier players stacks up against signing two or three genuine talents when we were closer to the top and could have pushed on? Prudence, youth, maybe it was a false economy.

Benik Afobe is reportedly set to leave Arsenal on a permanent basis without having made a single competitive appearance for the first-team.
The striker has been in scintillating form on loan at MK Dons this season, scoring 19 goals in 30 appearances, but is now in talks with an unnamed club over a transfer.
A player who showed tremendous promise as a schoolboy, he helped Arsenal U18s to win the Premier Academy League twice in succession, as well as featuring in the FA Youth Cup success of 2009.

Basically he is miles better than Sanogo, but not French so no place for him. Could also be that he actually wants to play football, so is better off anywhere but here. While Sanogo is happy pretending to be a footballer once in a while.
£30 million fee or so agreed between Citeh and Swansea for Bony.
