Well deserved for Messi. He has been the standout player of the last 2 decades. Nailed on to win another Ballon D`or now
I don’t think this was a great World Cup overall, in many respects it promises far more than it delivered
However the final delivered and then some, I can’t remember a better final in my lifetime. Similar in some respects to the 1986 final but for sheer drama this was better than that, although Mexico 86 was a far better tournament.
Messi finally lifts it.
Why the fuck did they put Messi in that shit Arab outfit for the trophy lift?
Pathetic.
So classy...

Messi comes out as Trans, good for her
So are you lot heading back to the real world now? Or have you already earmarked another distraction?
I saw that on a news clip. Didn't understand what I was watching at first. Was thinking, why is the second biggest cheat in world football (after the untouchable Ronaldo) wearing a nightdress? Then I twigged. The sand gentlemen had hijacked proceedings to project their enlightened (ahem) culture. Well, they are only human (allegedly).
In Formula.1. The winner of the US GP gets to wear a Texan Stetson. In Mexico he wears a Mexican wide brim. Sombrero.
Why are you lot determined to be offended?
In 4 years time the bastion of worldwide human rights the Americans will be hosting it. So be prepared to also be offended from the off. For one thing it will likely be called a Soccer World cup
I remember the last time the US had it in '94, we were threatened with quarters instead of halves and kick-ins instead of throw-ins, fortunately it didn't happen, maybe FIFA stood up to them then (or the domestic football federations perhaps), I doubt they would now if the price was right.
