A lot of pressure on Giroud now.
RVP's style of play suited us down to a tee. Giroud is not the same type of striker and I hope he is played to his strengths, we don't want another Chakma on our hands.

There's not a 'superstar' remaining now. We're about to get rid of our last one. All we have now are a bunch of Arteta, 8/10 performers along with the squaddies.
If there is pressure on anyone, it's Oxlade Chamberlain (and perhaps Wilshere if he makes it back soon) because they're the only ones in the current bunch capable of becoming 'superstar' players. When we're 1-0 down and struggling, you usually look to the most gifted player to create something out of nothing.
Oxlade's going to have to grow up very quickly. It's a ridiculous position to put him in - but this is Arsene's Arsenal and that's what we do.
Denilson is set for another season-long loan at Sao Paulo.

Just can't seem to get rid of him. His contract has to be up soon, surely?!
Wenget probably tied him down to a 10 year contract when he thought project youth was going to be a roaring success.
Rumours heating up about us and Lloris
Lloris is awful, never seen him do anything amazing. Dodgy on crosses too, waste of money. Get a defender in instead.
for me this summer, acheiveable targets only should be the following for me to call it a good summer
flog rvp
get dempsey, mvila or fellanini and a cheap backup keeper, mcgregor from rangers would be good, cheap too.
and if possible and got the money get someone like demba ba in but this is not essential
get song, theo down to new deals, and give the captaincy to a worthy person, only three choices, arteta, sagna or tv5.
all of that, and its a good summer and im happy
