Sad trivia...
Just watched 'Arshavin' make a cameo for Zenit in their 1st prem match(playing in a free role). Thing is he was called a 'fat bastard' on the Vietnam match thread. But today he was as slim & trim as i've ever seen him. Was he living on 'Pie & Mash' in London?
All those wasted years - shame.
Yeah, some just aren't cut out for it.
Clearly not guided very well by management if he's gone to another club and now looks trim.
IMO if a player is overweight you get him in for extra fitness training telling him in no uncertain terms it's not acceptable for him to be unfit, down to the management to make sure players are in good shape.
This a mourinho quote from today
So it's not just wenger who sees it as a trophy then. Ones hammered for it, the other, the press largely ignore it amd suck his cockQuote:
on moyes, when he finished 4th it's a trophy, he didn't take a medal home but for it's a trophy
A nice cherry picked quote from you there, you're so full of cr*p  Perhaps you should have put it in context, he's basically saying 4th or 5th for Everton is a great achievement for a club of their stature and finances.
Quote:
Mourinho strikes first in mind games war
“When he finished fourth with Everton or fifth, it’s a trophy. He doesn’t take the medal home but it’s a trophy.
“So I think he has trophies and I hope he gets some with Man United. But not many because we want some for us.”
It was classic Mourinho. Appearing to say one thing but leaving you wondering if he actually means something completely different.

So what you are saying is, if wenger says top four is a trophy, then he isn't a winner, it's a disgrace. What a loser
Anyone else says it, you justify it and let them off. Interesting
No what I'm saying is Everton are a small club in comparison to us and thus 4th, 5th is very good for them (they have no money and small stadium as well). We on the other hand should be doing a lot better.
We should certainly be doing better because we have the resources to but given that City and Chelsea are backed by billionaires and Utd had the best manager around and also had greater resources is 4th place such a failure? It should be complimented by other trophies, although they're harder to come by than they used to be because of the billionaires, and we should be closer to Utd than Spurs but with the resources the top 3 have should we really be doing a 'lot' better?
