It was ahead of the midweek Liverpool game I think, which obviously was the more important one for us languishing in fourth. :lol:

It never has. We lose the match we're resting the players for and lose the match with the lesser team.

None whatsoever, ever. It's another psychological problem Wenger has created for himself and the players. We can't play 2 games a week. The fixture schedule is against us. We are tried. He literally tells the players these things before we go into big games. He's like a professional demotivation coach.

I had a bit of sentiment for Wenger when they said he was going, but I lost all of that when I saw our bench last Thursday. How did we end up with a bench like that for a European semi in a competition that could get us back into the CL?
