He needed to get a couple against the gypos when a title was on the line. Didn't manage it. So holding my opinion on whether he's worth a damn. Three goals against a bunch of plumbers and a carpenter (Karen I think) doesn't count. Except in terms of earnings, of course.

He was very poor towards the end of last season. Very, very disappointing. Promised a lot, delivered nothing when it counted. But, next year is a new year.
