The problem is we shouldn’t have the chief creative architect, whatever the issue with Odegaard’s form it’s ridiculous to me how dependent we make ourselves on him firing on all cylinders.
To be honest though I can’t really judge Odegaard too harshly this season, United his passing was off but he wasn’t hiding the way he does, Leeds he was injured and Liverpool again didn’t start but I felt created a decent chance for Gyokeres that the latter wasn’t attuned to.
Though equally we carried him last season and I sincerely hope the options we have mean that this won’t continue unless he ups his game

I do think that myself. I used to know the top scorers of the football league, now I'm happy I can keep up with who is in the Liverpool squad and who was loaned/transferred out.
Part of me thinks it's the natural order, part of me thinks football is just getting further away from normality and the normal fan. EIther way, year on year, less of me cares. We won the league this year, I celebrated (abroad in fucking Switzerland) for about an hour then my life went on.
