just finished watching Mad Men......season 2 episode cant remember
Luther.
Finished 3rd season of The Mentalist. Oh dear God that was such an amazing end episode, great conclusion
4th season is due to air in September for people who watch it.
Also watched the last episode of Game of Thrones. Pretty good, if not a little obvious, but enough to make me watch the next season.
Top Gear.
That was awesome.
Yes it was :D
Monaco
DC.
Top Gear was brilliant.
I bought The Wire boxset finally, having returned from uni. Something to watch over the summer and I've heard from everyone (including on here) that it's brilliant.
Also bought season 1 of the OC for a bargain £7...
Anyone here seen Angry Boys on BBC3?
I know, the BBC3 bit would normally put me off, but this is a HBO co-production. I'd heard some good things about it, and caught the first few episodes when they were re-running them. It's one of the best mockumentary style comedies I've seen in a while. It has a slow-burning, subtle (despite the swearing) style that fans of Spinal Tap/A Mighty Wind should enjoy. Not all the segments are brilliant, but it's worth watching if you like non-PC, excruciating humour.
Newsnight
Good panel today too
The Killing.
Top Gear - Sebastian Vettel is the star in the reasonably priced car
Hawaii Five-0 - Season finale
Finished Lie to Me, shame it wasn't continued.
Might start with either Criminal Minds, Bones or House soon depending on which looks best.
Vettel.
Top Gear
Wow. The finale of H50 was brilliant. I've felt the last few episodes have been subpar but that was awesome. Can't wait for season 2, brilliant cliffhanger there.
As for Top Gear great episode, Vettel
Believe (Izzard)
I have opted for the off button.
House
5 min into the pilot they're slicing open someone's neck.
No chance I'm watching that disgusting show.
Yeah, I saw the pilot a while back and though I'm sure it's great, I cba watching serious medical shows. They're too depressing even though Hugh Laurie is great in it.
House is more about House than medical stuff. And very funny.
A Must Watch™.
As a great man twice said.
8 out of 10 cats
Sean Lock ripping into Jedward
Sean Lock is brilliant.
He makes that show.
Bob's Burgers
+1 on Sean Locke's brilliance.
A shame that alot of talented comics are wasted almost exclusively on trashy, insubstantial panel shows.
Have I Got News For You, Mock The Week and QI are generally fine and serve a purpose. But every other one is a waste of airtime. Mock The Week is actually rubbish now too; seems pointless without Frankie Boyle testing the boundaries each week.
Yeah Mock the Week went a bit shit when Boyle left. That Milton guy is ok but there's only so many irrelevant one liners you can take.
