Moving on, I've seen more abusive posts directed towards Zimm because of his views and you're like a ringleader. You're sort of posts encourage it and if things got heated on here one day because of an off hand remark, how would it be handled? As I said before, if people kept chipping away at me, I'd lose my cool and probably get banned. That's my view. Also, it's a forum. People are allowed to come here and moan. If they didn't this place would be boring. We need a clash of views.

I think there is a bit of inconsistency here over what is acceptable/seen to be acceptable here, but that is kind of inevitable given the nature of the place and how the default setting moderation wise is to let things go a bit until something gets reported or it is obvious things are getting out of hand.

My general view is I have no problem with an argument being attacked, but where I tend to step in is if an individual is being attacked, and then other factors come into play such as if there are two people who can dish it out and take it, I'll let it slide unless there is a complaint and/or it starts to have an adverse effect on the forum/thread. Also, history between posters is a factor, particularly where buttons are being pressed/sensitivities being abused, as often abuse and agitation is carried out without others particularly being aware it is happening such is the slyness of some digs.

As for Mr Singh, I have no idea what happened in this regard.

A dive is feigning CONTACT - he did not feign contact, just exaggerated, and as he says - it's irrelevant. Shouldn't have been slapped regardless
