is it a coincidence that today I looked at a match report from 10 years ago where we were losing 1-0 to a Dichio goal then Jeffers and Thierry scored in the second half and we won 1-2 ?

We started slow and look nothing like how we did against Napoli. The fluidity and interchanging just isn't there.

Nothing to do with Arteta today.

Yeah sub Wilshere off before he gets sent off. Same for Flams. Unfortunately Wengbot will be in full force today so we probably won't see the changes until its too late.

Should still have enough to come back though, one goal and they'll be rocking.

We need to put in a bid for Evertons Seamus Coleman in January. Sagna will get injured more frequently and Jenkinson is distinctively average.

We were pretty dominant the first 30-35min, after that the ref just allowed a shit show from both sites... Do you think it was a pen in the last sec, when ramsey was fighting for the ball?

I really hope Wilshere is off for the second half. We would have been better off with ten men.

Rosicky works in a packed midfield because he's always on the move and has multiple bursts of pace available. Wilshere is not only horrendously off-form, he's just never going to work in this situation.

Wenger always puts the players feelings ahead of the teams interests. He will be mindful that there's a lot of focus on Wilshere now. So for that reason alone. He'll keep him on then blame the press for getting him sent off

Ramsey, Flamini and Ozil should be the midfield three. DM, B2B and AM, then we can add some pace by having Rosicky or Gnabbry out wide. Jack is pointless on the wing, worst then Ramsey did last year. :coffee:
