Spuds vs Man Utd first up. Ideally a draw, I think I can stomach a Spud win in this one though.

1141: CITY TILL YOU DIE? - Hull v Liverpool (1405 GMT)
Hull owner Assem Allam has come out swinging in his row with sections of the Hull support - and that is an understatement.
You may recall that Allam is keen on renaming the club as the 'Hull Tigers', and that has led to fans continually chanting 'City till I die' at games.
Allam's response in an interview with the Independent on Sunday is fairly nuclear...
"I don't mind 'City till we die'. They can die as soon as they want, as long as they leave the club for the majority who just want to watch good football," he said.
""How can they call themselves fans, these hooligans, this militant minority, when they disturb and distract the players while taking away the rights of others to watch the football, and of companies who have paid good money for their advertising?"
From BBC's live text.
That'll go down well.
:haha:
Come on Spuds, try not to be completely shit for once.
The fans need to understand the mentality of the owners. Hull Tigers?. If the club had been named that all along. It would be part anda n parcel of them a name change to Hull city would elicit the same response. Fans dont like change and Asians respect the Tiger as a symbol of strength.
Same thing is happening at Cardiff where they have the colours changed from blue to Red. It tough for the fans but if it means progress on the pitch, who cares what the club is called, as long as its not Spud City. Now that would be unacceptable.
I guess fans worry that if they lose their name and eventually just be known as the Tigers, they can then move what would be the franchise to where they want.
Owen co-commentating.
He did save them from dire financial constraints, and spent to get them back up.
As long as Hull are still in the name, does it really matter too much ?
Walker :haha:
WTF ?!?
It's a shame they can't move the whole city to somewhere else tbf.
Lennon shot, easy for De Gea.
What are the Spuds doing? Valencia had a chance, Wazza eventually had a shot but charged down.
