The only way we'll get closer to the spuds is to somehow, if it's even possible, have a season that was worse than this one. I think that's the bit 'Arry isn't getting. He has a point though. I'm not sure these players really care that much, maybe with a few exceptions. When you lose 5-1 like that, or when we lost 4-0 for example, you have to question the players' attitudes. There doesn't seem to be the win at all costs mentality that used to be a trademark of the old first division and the early years of the PL. Comfort and sport don't go together well. Hunger is what you need. Leicester had it but it will be interesting to see how their players, who worked so hard this year, respond to a little bit of PL style pampering. If the owner is sensible he'll buy them a bag of chips to share as their bonus and leave it at that. Winning the title should be all the bonus they'll need. But the book deals and the media interviews and the TV adverts, they'll all be along soon I suppose.
