We underbid for Alonso, underbid for Jagielka and who knows how many more we missed out on because we wouldn't pay a few more quid like every other club? At a guess I'd say we've been underbidding on Mata, if we've been bidding at all.

seems like I missed a bit of action!

but I did wake up to see the news of Joey 'I'm a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic' Barton being allowed to leave, thus causing a scramble amongst top teams - Not sure if we are a top team :unsure:but I did see our name mentioned too!

now I know I am going to be killed for this and I have said in the past that I would hate to see that piece of trash don and Arsenal shirt

but could it be that we need a player with his tenacity and never say die mentality...........?

by the looks of pre-season we still lack 'balls'
