With a channel subscription, you at least get a number of games per month - along with other sports events. A month of product for a broadly similar price as for one match. When you fork out for a subscription and stole down to watch a match that turns out to be utter shite (which most are), you can simply turn off or over to something else on your subscription channels.

But when you've just forked out £15 for one match, you are pretty much committed to watching, regardless of how shit it is.

Not only that, (lets leave aside the debate over the handling of covid-19), the government wants to avoid households mixing. Good luck with that when your mate has forked out the money - you'll be round and so will a number of others. And you know it will happen - because if you're stupid enough to fork out £15 for a single match, you're probably likely stupid enough to invite your friends around - even if bubonic plague, typhoid, ebola and polio are doing the rounds.

Good point. Beat this new bullshit by using the Rule of 672. Everyone pile into one house. And, as an added bonus, you'll get immunity to the "plague" I have a sneaky suspicion, based on science, data and the evidence of my own two eyes, nobody will die.
