The problem with Jose is he's stripped all the attacking quality out of the team to focus almost exclusively on defensive solidity, so once that goes they turn into a shambles. They don't know how to create attacking chances outside of pubbing one in of a set piece or getting a deflection in of William.
Even though Liverpool were lucky with a few deflections and possibly the Lucas card (though Costa should have been off as well), they thoroughly outplayed Chelsea, created more chances and deserved to win.
