I do understand where he's coming from. He's spent all summer preparing for this game, then literally the night before, a bid comes in for your best player(a low bid at that), who then gets a bit unsettled. I would feel a bit disrespected if I was Newcastle.

Wouldn't he be unsettled ahead of the West Ham game had we made the same bid tomorrow? Because Cabaye was probably 47th on our list of targets. We've just been working through them one by one hoping to fluke a signing.
