Up until a few years ago, you could rely on newspapers like The Guardian and websites like the BBC to be reliable and publish only verifiable and virtually confirmed information. Now they're just rolling around in the same gossipy cesspit as everyone else, with their leading 'journalists' fighting for muppetry points on Twitter.
