Elliot in a recent Arsenal Vision podcast made a really excellent point. And that is that we are unlikely going forwards to have the level of squad strength that is available to Arteta this season. There will inevitably be players who don't get the game time they feel they need this season, and they are likely to look elsewhere.
This underlines the 'make or break' challenge that the manager has this season, but also is likely finally to break our cycle of poor selling. When we come to next Summer's transfer window it is much more likely that we will have 'surplus to requirements' players who are coveted by other clubs.
