I much prefer team goals to individual strikes. If it's an individual run or something where he goes past a few players and nets, then fair enough. But Crouch's effort or Torres' against Blackburn a few seasons back...I just think there's no real calculation to it. I know it sounds snobbish but there you go. It it's going to be a volley, one that requires the #tekkers of Van Persie's is #asgoodasitgets. Team goals (preferably counter-attacking) are the best IMO. Can't think of any particularly outstanding ones - certainly not for Arsenal - but I'm sure there would've been a few across the league though nothing springs to mind. Man City were scoring some fantastic team goals early on.
Or there is Lansbury's U21 goal for England which was certainly better than Crouches if you are looking at Goal of the Season generally.

Monday Night Football is on soon. Hopefully Gary Neville gives our the game the full analysis treatment - even if he doesn't, it'll still be more thorough than what MotD offered.
Gary Neville doesn't think Liverpool's signing have been poor; he's a future Man Utd manager I hope.
Interesting analogy. Neville talking about what he has for tea.
Man Utd: De Gea, Evra, Ferdinand, Evans, Rafael, Carrick, Giggs, Valencia, Rooney, Young, Welbeck.
Fulham: Schwarzer, Kelly, JA Riise, Hangeland, Hughes, Diarra, Dempsey, Pogrebnyak, Duff, Frei, Dembele.
Referee: Michael Oliver.
Half-arsed effort from John Stanton (who?).
Nani dead again?
My FF team. :rose:
How does one get a job just typing about matches?
