Wayne Rooney & Robin van Persie: Combined Weekly Wage: £500,000 Combined Shots On Target: 0
The Van Persie schadenfreude makes it even better.
6 Year contract as well :haha:
They have to spend a fortune to get rid of him.
Is Maccy Roy afterall?
Or perhaps both games were slap bang in the middle of a hellish block of fixtures. We were clearly not 100% in the first game because of the BFG virus affecting everyone. The second game came a few days after a beating and we were perhaps more concerned with not conceding a goal.
I think we should give a better account of ourselves in the next run of big games because we'll actually have some space in between to rest mind and body rather than hurtling from one mega game to the next without reprieve.
But yeah, we should have beaten them at least once. Hopefully we'll play them next season early on and finally get a positive result.
Sod off Dixon, you can't say Moyes is doing the best he can. Well alright maybe you can but not say it and suggest it can be tolerated.
Top comments from Keane. Why is it that 2 of the players I hated (Keane and Neville) are part of the only reason I listen to pundits these days?
I think because Keane, or me, is honest but psychotic and Neville at least tries to give some actual analysis although I don't like hearing him talk on European nights.
This is naughty - but Manure have done what we have done a few times, and seem to have blown any change of success this season. Lets see whether we have really got over that habit...
Spurs :haha:.Quote:
Infostrada Sports: In Europe #MUFC qualified for the next round after losing the 1st leg by a 2-goals margin only once: in 1963 against Spurs (4-3 on aggr.).
Even at your lowest, Spurs are lower than you.
Champions League music.
Keane's comment on Carrick. :haha:
He'll probably eke out an existence as a reliable, limited appearances squad player, but it looks like Carrick has lost it too. He's been one of their few consistent players, but has been as bad as anyone since his return from injury.
:haha:
'kin hell Keane.
This new geoff shreeves style interview is awesome. Really knows how to take the piss. "Have you let yourselves down?", "let's hope that Van Persie miss doesn't come back and haunt you eh?"
Keane :haha:
What do you want him to do? Idiot.
What did Keane say?
On Carrick's interview: That interview was just like the performance; flat [...]say something, say a bit more, a bit more urgency in his interview, it just reflected Utd's performance; flat, no urgency and he keeps on "ah you know, next game, next game", there won't be another game for them, that's the reality for it.
:haha:
They'd (including Dixon) would be revelling in an Arsenal nearly-crisis which never actually devolves into one, but Chiles is begging mercy for United.
Keane is only worthwhile when he's sticking the knife into a subject close to his heart: United. He can be as cliche-ridden and unversed as anyone when out of his comfort zone.
Conveniently, seems every pundit has dodged mentioning how shit the 300k per week man was.
The worst player on the pitch, imo, was Rio. By a thousand miles.
Worst players the English ones in a European game, hmmm no shock there. Cleverley, Welbeck and Smalling will be pubbing it up for England in a few months time I am sure too.
