For whatever reason, possibly connected to the player stating, "I'm not interested in joining them", Jonny Evans is set to snub Arsenal and join the gypos. Guess we need to set our sights a bit lower.

Have you been drinking tonight NQ?
He may have had some talent at one point in his career but he's been crap for ages after throwing all his talent away. Fuck it, he couldn't shine at Bournemouth despite going on a (for him at least) injury free run.
Ramsey & Xhaka are far more naturally talented players .... and that's saying something. And also two players who'd benefit a lot more from proper coaching than a coward like Jack. The only reason he's been kept around for so long is that he's been one of Wenger's favourites and like the Ox, Wenger's desperate not to admit he failed on him.
Like the Ox .... good riddance. Probably won't realise how good he had it here until he's long left. Just a shame we didn't milk the Gypos for 40 million plus a few years back when he still had some market value.
Not that's it's likely to happen but it frees up a shit load of wages (allegedly another undeserved high earner on 100k +++) that we could use on a Draxler or Seri.
Jack does have some talent but he's an idiot. He has an obsession with getting his head down and dribbling, kind of similar to Ramsey's obsession with bombing forward to score goal. He's also as much of a defensive liability as Ramsey and Xhaka and doesn't offer enough in the final third.
Eddie Howe didn't get anything out of Wilshere that Wenger didn't
Whilst I agree that young players are no longer developing under Wenger, I think it might have to be accepted that Wilshere like a lot of promising young stars is just a cunt.
Whilst you can't take anecdotal evidence as comprehensive, I have spoken to different people who know him and know of him and the verdict is the same chavvy little thug.
Now either they are all talking shit (possible I guess) or he just is a turd who doesn't have it in him to reach his own potential.
Arsenal have no interest in Mahrez according to Ornstein. (who also says West Brom rejected Mustafi).
Wilshere is one of those players who has been greatly overrated, he's had a handful of good games in his entire career and is always injured. The great English hope hasn't turned out to be, lacks discipline, not motivated enough, gives away possession too much in bad places, can't tackle and runs into players rather than releasing the ball when he should.
Hopefully he goes as it would be no great loss, hardly pulled any trees out of the ground at Bournemouth either, we gave him big contracts before he proved anything which is probably not a good thing either, as someone said should have taken the cash a few years back when we were offered a decent amount.
City offered 50m only two years ago but we turned it down. He was injured the following year before joining Bournemouth!
Terrible management.
Definitely he has more talent than them, but if he can't stay fit or perform well when he does it means very little
I think Wenger has ruined or misused a lot of decent players in the last five-ten years
His biggest sin with Wilshere is being too patient with him
Swedish newspaper says Sanchez has done his medical at city
Must be true then!
I do think City will pay what it takes to get the deal done though.
It also says there is a sale at IKEA.
All of those accusations can be levelled at Ramsey and Xhaka. We know how good a player Ramsey can be, because we saw it with our own eyes. Now look at him. Xhaka could play football in Germany, but not here? None of these players have had the character or balls to overcome Wenger. In terms of raw talent Jack's ahead of them all. A marvellously talented player that couldn't get the better of Wenger and has personal flaws that have been allowed to proliferate under a weak and useless manager who has somehow obtained a reputation for being a master at steering the careers of young players. Not Wenger's fault that these players have flaws. But it was his job to deal with it. Years on we are still seeing players that we know are talented playing shocking football. One man responsible for that.
You're still here, trying to pretend Wenger is competent? Name ONE manager that's less competent than Wenger based on ACTUAL events rather than media myth. Name ONE manager who would have sat Lacazette on the bench for that game against Liverpool. Name ONE manager who would have sat on his arse watching that first half performance without doing a damn thing about it. And there are many, many matches where the same questions can be raised.
Name ONE manager more incompetent than Wenger. And give an example to demonstrate. You can choose from any manager on the planet.
Just in case.

Nope. Not going to be feeling suicidal over Arsenal today. I've already been through the Suicide Period, I survived the Waiting Period, weathered the Wanting Period, carried the Hating Period with style. Now I'm into the Why Don't You Just Switch Off Your Television Set and Go and Do Something Less Boring Instead Period.
So.
Draxler and Mahrez in guys. Yesssssssss!
Or no.
Problems I can see with these deals:
1) They are made up.
2) Even if they were real, neither Draxler nor Mahrez can play as CB or CM. (Although, you know, just maybe...)
3) Bringing in players to replace even better players gets us nowhere.
4) They are made up.
So what we need to do is watch Sky Sports right up until 11PM and listen out for these big signings being confirmed. Because that's definitely going to happen.
Just to be clear, here's what we are losing today:
Games: 51
Goals: 30
Assists: 19
Bookings: 8
Minutes played: 4,229
Minutes per goal: 141
Plus:
Yards run: 2 billion
Commitment shown: Total
Suggestions on how much it is going to cost to replace that and who can be approached, negotiated and signed in a single day.
There is nobody. Suarez? Lewandowski? Vidal PLUS Lemar?
Ain't happening really, is it?
Mission accomplished.
Ok, enough with the silly comments and all the bullshit.
I hope that Ox and Alexis do leave today because they both deserve better, especially Alexis.
I would like to see Ozil leave because he never has been what Arsenal really need..
I don't want to see any replacements and I want to see Arsenal have a terrible season but not relegated as this is the ONLY, absolutely the ONLY, way to get Wenger out.
We apparently rejected a £20m bid for Chambers
why? :haha:
Sell everyone
But I thought everyone was pissed because the players are leaving and we aren't buying anyone and we're dropping down the table? Won't we just be more pissed if it happens faster? And what do you think the board and the manager will do? Leave? Hasn't happened so far. They've had an excuse for everything and, in the end, they couldn't give a shit what anyone thinks, says or does provided it doesn't disrupt their profit stream. These bastards are doing terrible damage to the club and the reputation of the club. We shouldn't be hoping they can accelerate the damage. They aren't leaving, no matter what. And especially not based on a lack of performance, as we have clearly seen. 10 years of it and not a hint of Wenger being sacked. Fuck all investment and no trace of Kroenke fucking off. Ain't happening. Only good outcome here os for the fans to get together and try and make is so toxic for these scumbags that they run in fear. Then try to pick up the pieces and hope the damage is not irreparable.
:gp: Hard pressed to name a single young player that received a good education at Arsenal. All arrive as young boys and leave with serious questions marks about their ability or just disappear all together. It's not the right environment to develop kids. We've been at it for over 10 years and haven't come close to producing what was expected.
20m bid from Leicester for Chambers rejected.
People are now coming to the realisation that Wenger does almost nothing right. But I guess that still deserves and new contract and payrise in Kroenke's world.
Got to say Wenger has had far too much leeway from everyone, he should have been gone years ago, he'd already had ample opportunity to put things right back then and clearly hadn't.
What's happening now is the culmination of years of neglect, eventually that catches up with you.
Trouble is we know they won't be looking for a replacement, he's the golden boy, he can do no wrong, even when he clearly does he gets himself a pay rise and new contract, he makes the rules he has to follow, Gazidis getting vetoed on the Director of football was a definite sign if we didn't know before.
Too much power in the wrong hands and the only thing that will stop this is an empty stadium realistically.
Spurs sign Aurier.
And also Llorente.
I love how so much weird shit happens on this day.
Everton make loan offer for Lucas Perez.
Spurs were always going to make signings, they've been quietish, logically it was going to happen today.
For us though, we've been very quiet and sold a load of players (maybe more to come) but logic goes out of the window, instead we claim we have no money :violin:, it's not even clever spin!
Yeah, I have to agree. It's win/ win for those cunts. If they can somehow keep Wenger in his chair, they retain the only football manager (so-called) in the world who prioritises profits over football. But if the heat gets to much, they can sack him and declare a new era. Some fools might even see them as heroes. The only challenge will be to find some cunt who will play along like the cunt they get rid of. Ten million quid should take care of that easily enough.
My impression is that the hardcore Wenger out agitators (who we should all be apologising to on bended knee) have concluded their work is done regarding Wenger and it's just a matter of time. They have turned their guns on Kroenke and that is exactly the right thing to do. He's got to be next. Both barrels, every hour of every day until the noise is heard all the way across the ocean.
I remember when he turned Henry into a striker whereas he was previously a winger.
And gave him broccoli.
Could be spin for Wenger. He may have asked his old pal Stan for a new team.
But if we sell everyone off and he's left to work with what we have, I dunno. Maybe they've had a change of heart and crunched the numbers on how much he's wasted. If they only care about money, they should be looking at it that way. But I'm not even sure it's even about greedy. Seems more like a misplaced loyalty to manager well passed his best.
