Why would be trying to get rid of a striker, moreover why would we be trying to offload a striker for a player who isn't.
We should keep Podolski, he has an eye for goal, he may not have been that great since he arrived but he can get goals at least.
Yeah, I agree - would be a good signing for the chavs (if true), and one they actually need for once. Would be interesting to see what the fallout there is though - can't see them being able to shift Torres of Eto'o in a hurry, on the wages they're likely to be on, but Lukaku could well be off, if Costa comes in?Quote:

Again, agreed. He may ultimately end up being a squad player for us, but he's the calibre of squad player we should be aiming for. In his first season in this team / league / country he bagged 16 goals and 11 assists, despite being regularly rotated and being subbed in almost every game - I know that may not tell the whole story of his contribution each game, but those are still big boy stats...Quote:
