I know this is a long shot, but maybe just maybe Wenger knowing Falcao will only cost £6 Million may hijack the deal if we have some super agent parked near carrington? I mean he still has to agree personal terms, could it happen?

You must agree this is potentially a new low. The surprise has come from an assumption that didn't really need to be stated that we'd fix the Sanogo problem following Giroud's injury. Even if we use Alexis as a striker, we still need some cover and that cover cannot be Sanogo for obvious reasons. So it was just taken for granted we'd bring somebody in, despite that failings during previous transfer windows. This time it had to be different because the situation is so ludicrous. On the one hand you have a club claiming to be chasing the title, on the other you have Sanogo. The two things are mutually exclusive. Actually I still think we must sign a striker.
