I was in Stratford on the weekend and I never realised how much of an eye sore that thing actually is.

That kid is getting high-fived to death

I know on one hand we can't say that a female teacher sleeping with a male pupil is ok when a male teacher sleeping with a female pupil isn't.
But no i don't think somehow this kid is psychologically scarred by this, even though it is totally unprofessional on the part of the teacher and she is rightly going to prison.
Charles II used to shag his female tutors in his formative years in France, didn't do him any harm
I don't think either are ok, but there is a clear difference simply because men and women are different, in general it's the man who does the chasing.
I'm not condoning either myself, I'm merely acknowledging that the teenage boy is unlikely to be traumatised by what happened. In general men do, do the chasing but in this instance i think we might have to account for the Mrs Robinson factor.
Well that and...she's pretty hot.
Yep but i wouldn't touch her with a barge pole after doing that
I have a nice view of the pool in my hotel in Chennai.
And it's nice and hot. :d
Given that i'm 32 and not 16 no i'm probably not
:(
Will do.
Although....actually, most of our work is for the Exams business which generates a big profit so this trip is not being funded by the great British taxpayer, aktually.
So :p
Might go swimming in a bit
I say, I say, I say...what's blue and white and sings Cuban music?

The BC pays for lots of foreigners to learn how to teach English to lots of other foreigners - clearly these foreigners need to be tested to ensure that they teach English as it should be teached. That way more of the world can laugh at clickbait articles entitled "15 cats that look like radical anarchist thinkers".
No, the British Council (the acronym BC is frowned upon in house) pay lots of English people to go and teach English to lots of foreigners, English teaching and English exams is a big part of our business.
And we have an exclusive contract with the UKVI (Visas and Immigration) as the supplier of the English exam which forms part of a Visa application for people wishing to study or work in an English speaking country.
So there.

To give away something about myself, I deal with police resourcing for Essex police and had to deal with allocating resources for a man hunt in the two murders.
As soon as the second person was killed I said it was the same person and people were dismissive as they believed that Nadim Almanea's death was an honour killing. A week later major investigations conceded that they were linking the two murders (although to be fair without consultation from me).
This guy would have I have no doubt killed again had he not been aprehended, this excuse of psychosis doesn't wash with me as someone who has volunteered with a mental health charity I have spent time with people suffering from psychosis and they with the greatest of respect would not be able to get it together to hunt someone murder them and escape detection for so long (even if their inclination was to do harm to others and more often than not they were at risk of harm to themselves).

HB MOe!
Just went out for a smoke and had a conversation with someone assuming they worked in my office, but it was established they didn't. To put some perspective on it, I've been working in this office for three years and it isn't a large office.

Arsenal finally managed to extract some more money out of me.
Booked some tickets for the Arsenal legends game, it'll be fun to see some of the old guard from when we were any good.
Done the Euros section, will look at doing the flags over the weekend.

Having said that I can't quite work out why it won't allow to create a new thread on it?
I think I have created the wrong thing. Oh well will try and sort it out tonight.
Ah think I created the Euro 2016 part as a postable forum in its own right. Letters will you be able to sort out my shit?
