the rules are it is the home teams responsibility to check all fans on entering the ground. so I suppose technically it is our fault for not doing the job properly.

It kinda makes sense but unless you have airport style security and everyone has to get there an hour or two before the game starts then there's no way to stop this sort of thing.

I think they’d find a way if flares were thrown at fans and people hurt.
