Shambles was Ox's nickname, given by Merts, because he kept arriving late. But Ramsey's a smart guy, he must have guessed that a in-club joke would be interpreted as it initially was. Is this the first shot in his 2017/18 exit strategy?

Serious question.
You think we have a bad squad (you said that after the Liverpool debacle)
Your thoughts about Wenger are pretty clear.
And yet last year despite all our wobbles last year we still finished 5th and won the Cup.
This whole summer has been a mess and a lot is wrong at the club but I wonder how you figure that EVERYTHING is wrong and the end result isn't a relegation battle.
Wonder if anyone will want Ozil next summer :haha:
Useless cunt
Yes I think our squad is bang average bar a few players, defence is rubbish, midfield is lacking in areas, up front happier now we have Lacazette, no captains or leaders on top of that.
5th is nowhere, we were absolutely dreadful and the cup is no consolation for me, it's 2nd tier and not what we want after 13 years.
We're a big club, for a big club like us to get relegated takes an absolute disaster to be honest as the PL is quite frankly average quality wise, we have a few players like Alexis and a handful of others that keep us further up the table than our play deserves in all honesty. 5th place for a club is failure in every sense considering the resources at our fingertips as is 13 years without genuinely competing which is ultimately what all fans of big clubs want, I don't expect to win every season but expect us to compete so that we have a chance.
I think Arsene Wenger is a walking disaster to be honest and have done for a long time, anyone who does what he has done turning a hugely successful team into a failure whilst changing all the successful aspects has got to be clueless in my book, why else would you get rid of pace, power, leadership, discipline and instead change the style of play to boring 5 yard passing football, bring in powederpuff weak players who can't mix it or tackle, settle for 2nd rate players who can't deliver at the top level and not put together a quality spine of the team you can rely on when things get tough?
Lets just hope Alexis continues to work his bollocks us off from now until he leaves. If he checks out, we're in serious trouble.
Alexis and Ozil, our 2 best players set to leave for free next summer. An ideal situation some would call it.
Dangerous last 3 hours. Because if we can find some godawful piece of shit and spin him up as a replacement for Alexis then, I must tell you, we will do it.
Mixed feelings about Alexis staying now. He must be gutted but I think he'll put 100% into the season because that's the sort of player he is. I wonder though, will he still want to play through the injuries?
And I really don't think Alexis can make much difference to the absolute mess we have going on. It won't hurt, but even with him firing on all cylinders we could only grab 5th last year.
In some ways we'd have been better off letting him go, NOT signing anyone, keeping the cash and fucking Wenger out the door by Christmas. But that's wishful thinking and there would be no guarantees the club would spend the cash anyway.
Glad the Lemar thing has died a death. I have mixed feelings about Alexis though. I expect he will go all out for the Club, but for some reason his passion and work ethic seems to be making him a pariah at our Club.
If he stays all that will happen is he will have had another year at the top of his form wasted.
According to ornstein, Alexis thought it was all done and dusted and had informed his friends and family!!
He must be seething right now! Wonder if he will find the will to turn up to training and see that old fart!
Just sell the man
Great window, made a profit, cut our salary bill, perfect really.
We now have a few players who don't really want to be at the club as well, this after getting thrashed by Liverpool, look forward to next summer when we lose our two top players and fail to replace them cos we have no money.
In Wenger we trust!
I think he'll lack motivation, his body language showed he wasn't happy here. He's got the World cup so won't want to get injured for that and in Jan he can talk to other clubs who know of his qualities already. Don't think he'll be the same player personally and think it will affect squad harmony knowing we have players who don't want to be here.
There's another consideration too. If Wenger can't pull this around (which he can't) and the team performs like a joke again this season (which it will), once Alexis walks out, followed by Ozil and (presumably, to avoid making the same mistake again) Ramsey, who will want to come here to replace them, even if we are prepared to spend the money? If it's bad now, think how bad it's going to be next season.
A board with a ball between them would sack Wenger right now. It's the only way out of this. Too late, but for every day it goes on our situation gets worse. Do they really, genuinely thing this bloke can compete? Assuming they give a shit about competing at all - which they don't so I guess ignore this post.
