also going back to the £40,000,001 bid, i think it's clear that Gazidis/Richard Law made the bid with the naive thinking that any amount over 40million would immediately trigger the clause in Suarez's contract so that Liverpool would have to accept. This enforces my point that Gazidis far from being the manipulative business genius for his swinish masters is actually a total incompetent and was probably given some kind of daft assurance from Suarez's agent about this clause and went away with the bid without thinking that were it untrue that the club would make themselves look bloody silly....and it's why Liverpool were considering having the Premier League investigate us for knowing anything about the clause to begin with.
