Higuain has scored over a 100 league goals in La Liga and he's only 25. Since he's been there only Ronaldo and Messi have scored more. Bentekkers has potential but we want results now, and surely Higgy's more likely to deliver that.Quote:

In an ideal world we should be getting themboth and dumping the French klutz that is Giroud. We can afford it seeing as we are offloading the great Dane B52. a) Anyone realistically thinks we might sign Wayne Rooney

I'm fine with not signing Wazza because Higgy's probably more what we need. But make no mistake he is a genuinely world class, super super quality player. It would be a real statement of intent if we signed him. We couldn't do a lot better than Rooney because no such thing exists.
