I just never get this approach from Wenger. Instead of wasting time and probably some money getting Kallstrom as a stopgap why not put those resources along with the extra million necessary to get our first choice target? Where the fuck are our board & Gazidis when this farce is happening apart from bowing as Wenger walks past asking if he can have a couple of mill to get Heskey in - we have waited a long time to be in this position, we have no forward line, no pace, a crocked midfield & he refuses to pay an additional £7 mill to get a player that could be worth Bale money in a few years. Jonas - where were you when Arsenal fans were told that after years of fuck all we would finally be able to compete for the league - this came from our board of directors, not a fans forum. We are now in a position to regularly buy £20 mill + players because of the 8 years it taken to pay off the stadium & get out of shit contracts that our money men got us into. Its supporters like you that will keep us fighting with the Spuds, Everton & Newcastle for Europa league spot for years to come.

We did it before the emirates aswell. Anyway, this club is one of the few rich clubs in the world with a healthy economy, not spending 50m+ every transfer window is probably a big part of that.

Kim Kallstrom can't even get into their team right now.

Arteta and Flamini aren't long term solutions so we could always buy a better DM. I think Wenger will try to do an Artea with Kallstrom and play him deep.

@bbcsport_david: Spoken to Lille - they've received enquiries from PL clubs for Kalou but say absolutely no way he's leaving.

His pass completion average is 70%. If it's that bad I hope he doesn't step foot on the field. Just bring Coquelin back from loan or give Ox his chance in the middle. We can then go on to get a winger.

Mert, Koscielny and Flamini is in the top10 over completion average in europe, that doesnt make them the best passers... Its down to how teams play, if moskva is playing with long balls, you're often going to get a very low average throughout the team. Ox cant cover the deep playermaker/holding midfielder and we dont know how the Coquelin deal is, if we can bring him back or not.

As far as i can see, he's not played in 8 games out of 22. I wouldnt call that "left on the bench". Anyway let me know who else we should bring in, who can play the holding/deep playermaker, with experience and is cool with being a back/rotation player on a 6month loan deal :)

Wouldn't mind Klose myself though, his goal scoring record speaks for itself. Can play in the UCL aswell

I don't get paid to scout for the club but it's a serious worry if this is the best they can come up with. Shit, I wouldn't mid doing the job for them if they have any vacancies. :lol:

Ahh... Dont make him worse than he is, he's been playing champions league football for the last 7 years, before this season and always been an important part of the teams he's been playing for, its only this season thats he's not been a 100% starter, he's got 100+ games for sweden and can play both roles on the midfield in our team. This is good business, we dont need a new starter just a decent back-up/rotation for the next 6 months and in Kallstrom we wont find any better.
