Wenger acts as if qualifying for the Champions League and winning the FA Cup cannot be achieved together, and that you have to sacrifice one to achieve the other. This is not true, because as MO says FA Cup games come every 3 weeks or so, therefore as long as your squad is strong enough to compete on multiple fronts (which it should be) there's no reason not to go for the FA Cup as well. If the squad isn't strong enough to go for the FA Cup, that's Wenger and the board's fault for failing to bring in high quality players to supplement the squad in the summer, which we all know is the case.
Wenger has clearly said "I don't like the FA Cup. Never have. We don't have the resources to try and win against Leeds, therefore, we will put out the most rubbish side possible, and hope that we get beaten".Quote:
