Would be strange to see Gervinho on the bench after one season. He usually gives a player more time than that. I hope we don't sell RVP or Theo but at least we've done business early. It may help with the contract talks and convince them to stay but if not, we have a player in that can fill in.

And that's from the left mainly, too. It just hasn't worked for him that well at club level. He has time to turn it around though, unlike say, Klose.

He must have popped up on the radar before his move to Hamburg. He went for around the same fee back in 2009.
