Nope, it doesn't. City can buy several teams of internationals so they don't have to worry about injuries, suspensions or busy schedules. It's a massive advantage. Not the same as clubs like Swansea and Arsenal.

What NQ says.

Swansealona aren't winning the league or anywhere near, but they still survive in the PL playing good football. It shows you don't need to go down the Stoke route to survive even if you don't have the resources of the big boys.
