So if Wenger was expecting us to lack rhythm and competition yesterday did he not have a game plan to try and keep Liverpool quiet for the first 45 minutes? Surely if he really knew we were going to be slow out of the blocks why didn't he tell them to stay compact and be tactically astute in the first half. I didn't see the game yesterday but from the highlights I have seen, in the first half we were a complete mess tactically and defensively, in fact we looked bent out of shape pretty much the entire game.
