Hector looks petrified. Scared his hair will get tousled.

They weren't. I know 2 season ticket holders who said it was a very half arsed reception and it was only a minority who sang "One Arsene Wenger". Stinking the place out for 60 minutes probably had something to do with it.
I'm sure it will be better against Burnley (if we win ) but he is not leaving us in the same way Fergie left United, he lost that opportunity to receive worship from the masses years ago.
:patrice:
I think even now people do appreciate what he’s done, it’s just a shame his exit probably won’t be what it should have been.

People will remember and appreciate the good things Wenger did, and honest people will also remember how he fucked up. His story is in two parts and I'm getting the feeling there will be a requirement for "true fans" to speak of only half of it. That was the set up last week anyway, but Wenger being Wenger blew it.
Oh do fuck off. The grave is dug, put away your dancing shoes.
I think if he'd gone at the end of last season he'd probably have got away with it more.
Now it depends on the EL whether he goes out on a relative high.
If we won't win it, have a feeling we won't, then if 6th and no trophies is his worst ever season then it's not the worst record.
