Fucking hell.
:rose:
Fuck me
Jesus fucking crist
can't see us us surviving beyond the next stage
We hold on for a 2-0 defeat.
sorry wenget, nothing to smile about there
That was poor. From everyone involved.
Poor defeat, must do better against the money bags this weekend. :coffee:
Never in doubt :coffee:
We're getting a horrible draw, all the sides we could face are very tough indeed.
Wenger playing Russian roulette as usual.
This was a game we would have won if we had a manager with any sort of tactical nous.
Somehow we always find a way to screw up the group stage. Ah well 2 more games to look forward to then
I guess it'll help with the league down the line if we get knocked out next round, fewer game and everything :coffee:
:getcoat:
Henry doesn't look happy at all. :D
Good thing we will play 2 more games in the CL and can concentrate on the league + FA Cup
This has been coming, our November capitulation is now on track in December. Cant see us doing anything at etihad, and chavs will do a number on us.
I can't believe such mis-management of the team!!
Wenger even said before the game he needs to rotate the side!??!??
Where the fuck was Theo and Bendtner, the team look knackered!!!
And now look at our draw, despite every good thing this season he still hasn't got a clue how to manage an actual football game.
Rant over
:cheer:
GW back to normal, i missed you GW
I worry we are not ruthless or direct enough, and I fear that will be our undoing eventually.
Done well so far this season, but can't help but see this scenario playing out. here's hoping not.
need some top quality goalscorers, real assassins. that's the missing ingredient.
Us.
But also, Group of Death.
We've run out of steam now. Lets hope this result doesn't damage us mentally.
It's the lack of beating Everton at the Emirates. Was last week, still is this week. Those are the games.
I'm much more disappointed with the Everton and Napoli performances than the performance today. Today could have seen any combination of scores, it was random but we attacked city as much as they attacked us. They have better strikers though. Plus let's not overlook the scandalous scheduling that handed city such a huge advantage before a ball was even kicked. I don't think anyone at city will be kidding themselves about that game, on a good day we could have knocked 7 past them. We need to keep that level of intensity, steer well clear of the Everton/ Napoli bullshit strategies, continue to improve at the back and maybe add a bit of firepower next month and we should at least be able to compete - something we haven't realistically been doing for a while.
Plus the expectations will drop now - not a terrible thing.
