I just think he did not want to disrupt things. Like you say he is new, its diffrent if it was a rvc, or he was a big personality at the club. Maybe he felt this is the way things are done. Im sure he'd have loved to take it.

If Arteta did not feel comfortable im sure he would not have taken it.
