Well the thing is that Swann and Broad count as batsmen. Lower order. So you can't send them in. I used to see the point in it but now I'm not a fan of the nightwatchman.
Speaking of village - I didn't even manage a Sammy. We was bowled out for 80 odd. I scored 7 (I think) before nicking one from this 'Davies' kid - supposed to be county level. He was rapid - he must've clocked in at 80 at least. And I was fully bricking it. They knocked the runs off easy.
